Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. Children with Cancer UK's aims are to determine the causes, find cures and provide care for children with cancer. Additionally, the charity funds innovative welfare projects to provide better care and practical support for young cancer patients and their families, such as arranging special days out for cancer sufferers, offering financial assistance to families to get them through difficult times and providing accommodation for families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment.
