An indicator window clearly displays the thickness setting in both millimeters and inches and which can be set in 0.5mm intervals. The two-sided Japanese stainless steel blade creates straight or crinkled slices and is angled so that even soft foods can be sliced with ease. To protect fingers, the spring-loaded food holder has a wide rim and can be stored on the underside of the mandoline when not in use.
